Gaëlle Legrand is an artist originally from France who lives and works in Tiohtià:ke / Mooniyang / Montréal. She recently completed her BFA in Sculpture at Concordia University (graduation expected in June 2026). Her works have been presented in a number of group exhibitions, including Peinture fraîche et Nouvelle construction at Art Mûr (2024), and Emerging/Emergent at the Livart (2022). In August 2025, she was part of the program Summer Institute: Magic Creek, at Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art in Winnipeg, MB. She is a research fellow at Post Image Lab, Concordia University and is the recipient of several grants and scholarships. Prior to making visual art, Gaëlle was a music video director and editor and played in the band Champion Ski.
