water memory, sandcast aluminium and bronze, 2025.
Documented during my residency at Domaine des Lignes, Woburn, QC, Canada. Various formations, installed in response to the space the work interracts with.
water memory is a study about how water moves through matter, like melted aluminum running through sand, like roots, trunks and branches, growing through soil and air, carrying the minerals and sap all the way up to the leaves, like rivers pourring out through land, like veins flowing through flesh. Any being within its living cells remembers how water move.
